Appnomic Systems Launches Release 4.2 of AppsOne -- Innovative Analytics Software for IT Application Operations

Delivers on Vision of Applying Advanced Analytics to Prevent IT Application Performance Issues

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/04/14 -- Appnomic Systems, a leading provider of innovative analytics software for IT application operations, introduced Release 4.2 of its AppsOne solution today. With over 700 customer driven improvements in this latest release, Appnomic takes IT Operations Analytics (ITOA) implementation and practical application to the next level.

The new release of AppsOne increases both scalability and deployment speeds. As an example, an Appnomic financial services client with regular volumes of 5,000 + transactions per second (the equivalent of 13 billion transactions per month) and ongoing monitoring and analyzing of over 4,000 components, is experiencing a 3X increase in deployment speeds.

"Appnomic has been out in front of the pack, tackling the complexities of managing IT with new advanced analytics software and techniques," said John Karsner, CTO of Appnomic Systems. "While many companies are now jumping into the ITOA market or saying they have applied analytics, we are moving ahead with complex, challenging, real life deployments based on more than four years of testing and learning. This 4.2 release of AppsOne takes all our hard-won wisdom and enables our clients to achieve the vision of applying advanced analytics to application management in ways that prevent IT accidents from occurring and also taking enterprise applications to a new level of high quality end-user experience."

Appnomic also recently implemented a monalytic automation™ (the combination of IT environment monitoring + advanced analytics + IT automation technologies to achieve IT-enabled business gains) with another banking client who deployed AppsOne to enhance real end-user experience in the online banking part of the business. The result combines prevention (preventing IT accidents that can cause slowness and availability issues) with performance enhancement, enabling higher quality, business enhancing performance.

According to Ray Solnik, president of US Operations, "With the release of AppsOne 4.2, Appnomic is taking the promise of 'Big Data' analytics to the next phase of evolution by linking the analytic insights to value creating and focused automations. These solutions are enabling complex online and enterprise applications to self-heal or self-moderate their performance and costs. Clients with high volume transactional platforms are seeing better end user experience with fewer incidents of slowness and application unavailability, but even more exciting is the ability to deliver differentiated, better performance when it makes a bottom line difference to the business."

About AppsOne
The platform consists of Application Behavior Learning (ABL), a unique approach to what Gartner calls IT Operations Analytics (ITOA). ABL enables automatic threshold discovery (ATD) for application performance monitoring of underlying data center components. ATD eliminates the need for manual setting and management of monitoring thresholds. Instead, ATD sets dynamic thresholds which result in the Early Warning Alerts™ that help prevent IT accidents before they occur. These alerts are enriched with "forensic" data to provide deep insight into root causes and can be linked to automated remediation of application stack problems.

Clients combining AppsOne monitoring and analytics with automation are delivering self-moderating application performance that can conserve budget when needed and also gear up performance to achieve greater customer conversions, lower churn, and higher revenues.

@DevOpsSummit Stories
Digital transformation is about embracing digital technologies into a company's culture to better connect with its customers, automate processes, create better tools, enter new markets, etc. Such a transformation requires continuous orchestration across teams and an environment based on open collaboration and daily experiments. In his session at 21st Cloud Expo, Alex Casalboni, Technical (Cloud) Evangelist at Cloud Academy, explored and discussed the most urgent unsolved challenges to achieve full cloud literacy in the enterprise world.
CloudEXPO | DevOpsSUMMIT | DXWorldEXPO Silicon Valley 2019 will cover all of these tools, with the most comprehensive program and with 222 rockstar speakers throughout our industry presenting 22 Keynotes and General Sessions, 250 Breakout Sessions along 10 Tracks, as well as our signature Power Panels. Our Expo Floor will bring together the leading global 200 companies throughout the world of Cloud Computing, DevOps, IoT, Smart Cities, FinTech, Digital Transformation, and all they entail. As your enterprise creates a vision and strategy that enables you to create your own unique, long-term success, learning about all the technologies involved is essential. Companies today not only form multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures, but create them with built-in cognitive capabilities.
In today's always-on world, customer expectations have changed. Competitive differentiation is delivered through rapid software innovations, the ability to respond to issues quickly and by releasing high-quality code with minimal interruptions. DevOps isn't some far off goal; it's methodologies and practices are a response to this demand. The demand to go faster. The demand for more uptime. The demand to innovate. In this keynote, we will cover the Nutanix Developer Stack. Built from the foundation of software-defined infrastructure, Nutanix has rapidly expanded into full application lifecycle management across any infrastructure or cloud .Join us as we delve into how the Nutanix Developer Stack makes it easy to build hybrid cloud applications by weaving DBaaS, micro segmentation, event driven lifecycle operations, and both financial and cloud governance together into a single unified st...
For far too long technology teams have lived in siloes. Not only physical siloes, but cultural siloes pushed by competing objectives. This includes informational siloes where business users require one set of data and tech teams require different data. DevOps intends to bridge these gaps to make tech driven operations more aligned and efficient.
