Cloudways Launches Its Blazing Fast Managed Cloud Hosting Click&Go Platform

MOSTA, Malta, March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

The recently launched Click&Go Platform provides the ultimate convenience to the users to host multiple applications in one click only; thereby, increasing performance while safeguarding security. The applications include WordPress, Magento, Drupal, Joomla, and MediaWiki whereas more choices to come in the near future.

Cloudways, known for introducing cutting-edge managed cloud hosting services, is proud to announce the launch of new Click&Go managed platform in public beta which allows its users to launch popular applications on a scalable cloud servers on dedicated IPs within minutes where server-side security and performance is maintained by their experts.

The new platform facilitates its users to deploy any of the five different web applications with just one-click. These applications include WordPress, Magento, Drupal, Joomla, and MediaWiki. All these applications are deployed on dedicated, scalable, and secure cloud servers on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The whole process takes only a few minutes. More choices, both in applications and cloud service providers, will be added soon.

Click&Go works on a "pay as you go" model instead of a monthly fee one. This means the user pays only for the resources they use during a calendar month.

With eight (8) datacenters available, the esteemed users are able to host servers in any of the nearest locations within the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. All of the servers are provided with dedicated IPs. Furthermore, it also supports multi-app deployment on the same server without any hiccups.

"The Click&Go platform offers agility and ease with customization and control," elaborated Aaqib Gadit, Co-founder of Cloudways. "Unlike other platforms available, Click&Go is not a black box."

An easy-to-understand, yet powerful console is essentially the bedrock of the new Click&Go platform. This console makes self management extremely easy as it provides super-efficient Server and Application Management features.

With sophisticated Server Management mechanism available, the users can control critical services like Apache, MySQL, Nginx, Memcached, and Varnish. They can easily schedule system backups at desired intervals. The platform also gives the users the facility to backup files manually. Furthermore, all backups are stored on off-site locations.

"What we have built here is a platform that allows to build reliable services in the cloud and at the same time, it gives the customers control and assurance over their most valuable asset: their data," explained Pere Hospital, Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder of Cloudways. "We provide a highly optimized cloud environment, thanks to our Nginx-Varnish-Memcached-Apache combo."

The easy-to-use console helps in monitoring, thus enabling the users to monitor 15 server metrics, like Free Memory, Idle CPU, Varnish hits, APC fill ratio, etc., for predefined time intervals.

Additionally, the Click&Go platform is built with enriched security mechanism-managed by Cloudways-through several layers in the system. The security regime ensures a streamlined process and efficient performance on the whole, thus ridding the users of installing security updates or patches.

The platform is ideal for bloggers, freelancers, web designers, web development agencies, and small-scale businesses.

The pricing plans for new Click&Go start from USD 46.95 which can handle up to 130,000 page views. The platform is scalable as users can customize their disk sizes, RAM, and bandwidth whenever required.

"The best thing about our price is that it's pay-as-you-go. Unlike other managed hosting providers, we charge on an hourly basis and you only pay for the resources, like RAM, disk, and bandwidth, you need," explained Pere Hospital.

The launch of all new Click&Go with exciting features ushers in a new era of managed cloud hosting services. It is available for a free 3-day trial with no requirement of credit cards and users have the accessibility to all the features.

@DevOpsSummit Stories
As Marc Andreessen says software is eating the world. Everything is rapidly moving toward being software-defined – from our phones and cars through our washing machines to the datacenter. However, there are larger challenges when implementing software defined on a larger scale - when building software defined infrastructure. In his session at 16th Cloud Expo, Boyan Ivanov, CEO of StorPool, provided some practical insights on what, how and why when implementing "software-defined" in the datacenter.
ChatOps is an emerging topic that has led to the wide availability of integrations between group chat and various other tools/platforms. Currently, HipChat is an extremely powerful collaboration platform due to the various ChatOps integrations that are available. However, DevOps automation can involve orchestration and complex workflows. In his session at @DevOpsSummit at 20th Cloud Expo, Himanshu Chhetri, CTO at Addteq, will cover practical examples and use cases such as self-provisioning infrastructure/applications, self-remediation workflows, integrating monitoring and complimenting integrations between Atlassian tools and other top tools in the industry.
"Storpool does only block-level storage so we do one thing extremely well. The growth in data is what drives the move to software-defined technologies in general and software-defined storage," explained Boyan Ivanov, CEO and co-founder at StorPool, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at 16th Cloud Expo, held June 9-11, 2015, at the Javits Center in New York City.
Is advanced scheduling in Kubernetes achievable?Yes, however, how do you properly accommodate every real-life scenario that a Kubernetes user might encounter? How do you leverage advanced scheduling techniques to shape and describe each scenario in easy-to-use rules and configurations? In his session at @DevOpsSummit at 21st Cloud Expo, Oleg Chunikhin, CTO at Kublr, answered these questions and demonstrated techniques for implementing advanced scheduling. For example, using spot instances and cost-effective resources on AWS, coupled with the ability to deliver a minimum set of functionalities that cover the majority of needs – without configuration complexity.
A strange thing is happening along the way to the Internet of Things, namely far too many devices to work with and manage. It has become clear that we'll need much higher efficiency user experiences that can allow us to more easily and scalably work with the thousands of devices that will soon be in each of our lives. Enter the conversational interface revolution, combining bots we can literally talk with, gesture to, and even direct with our thoughts, with embedded artificial intelligence, which can process our conversational commands and orchestrate the outcomes we request across our personal and professional realm of connected devices.
