Fulton joins Infoblox from BMC, where he was most recently vice president and general manager of the cloud management business. Fulton played a key role in organically and acquisitively building several new businesses at BMC that capitalized on secular trends around cloud computing, IT automation, mobility and DevOps. Prior to BMC, Fulton spent more than a decade in Hewlett–Packard’s software business, innovating many new IT management offerings and rising through a series of executive positions in the US, Europe and India. He has held a broad range of functional leadership roles in business planning, engineering, product management and marketing.

“Scott’s depth of experience in foundational technologies such as cloud, virtualization and big data will help Infoblox accelerate our product strategy and seize the many market opportunities ahead of us,” said Robert Thomas, CEO and president of Infoblox. “Scott is also a proven cross-functional leader who has managed large portfolios and inspired engineering and product teams to achieve great things.”

“I was drawn to Infoblox by the power and promise of the company’s Infoblox Grid® technology, its leadership in the category of DNS, DHCP and IP address management (DDI) and its seasoned management team,” said Fulton. “I look forward to contributing to the future of Infoblox and supporting the company’s mission of delivering solutions that make enterprise networks easier to control, more reliable and more secure.”

Without lifecycle traceability and visibility across the tool chain, stakeholders from Planning-to-Ops have limited insight and answers to who, what, when, why and how across the DevOps lifecycle. This impacts the ability to deliver high quality software at the needed velocity to drive positive business outcomes. In his general session at @DevOpsSummit at 19th Cloud Expo, Eric Robertson, General Manager at CollabNet, will discuss how customers are able to achieve a level of transparency that enables everyone from Planning-to-Ops to make informed decisions based on business priority and leverage automation to accelerate identifying issues and fast fix to drive continuous feedback and KPI insight.
