Gamzio Expands Casino Portfolio to Facebook With Acquisition of Go-Go Casino: A Well Known Brand With 147,000+ Likes and 361,000+ Player Installs

IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/21/14 -- Gamzio Mobile, Inc. (OTCQB: GAMZ), the innovative mobile & social casino gaming company, is pleased to announce today that it has acquired the Facebook social casino app Go-Go Casino. Gamzio CEO Jason Deiboldt proves to the marketplace he is focused on making good on promises to shareholders to aggressively grow through strategic acquisitions and organic player acquisition.

The Go-Go Casino Facebook Fan Page has 147,320 Likes and can be found here:

The Go-Go Casino App is currently in redevelopment by the Gamzio DevOps Team. Go-Go has been extremely popular in the past, amassing over 361,000 player downloads, but a recent lack of upgrades and technology had caused a decline in users.

Gamzio is now working behind the scenes of Go-Go's current casino operations to update functions, install upgrades and enhancements to gameplay, and deploy proven optimization frameworks from its other successful games. The new and improved Gamzio Go-Go Casino will be rolled out over the next 45 days.

CEO, Jason Deiboldt, stated, "Gamzio is very happy about expanding our reach to the Facebook canvas which serves over 375 million gamers monthly. We are pleased to welcome our new players from Go-Go Casino to the Gamzio family. We plan to totally revise and re-launch Go-Go Casino with a brand new unmatched player experience on Facebook."

Go-Go Casino has been installed by over 361,000 users on Facebook. With Facebook's "total payment and other fees" revenue (which is made up largely of game revenue), totalling $237 million for 2014Q1, the acquisition of Go-Go Casino provides Gamzio with the opportunity to tap into this large pool of players and new revenue.

Gamzio's integration with Facebook can be leveraged to provide an expanded set of features and experiences for its players, while expanding the company's reach to browser-based online games.

About The Lucrative Social Casino Industry

Social casino games are "one of the most lucrative segments in mobile games, and in the mobile app market at large publishers of Social Casino Games dominate the top publishers leaderboards" according to Scott Reyburn, who published the Social Casino Gaming Report which can be read at:

http://www.distimo.com/blog/2014_04_social-casino-gaming-report-part-1-the-biggest-publishers-globally/

The Report states that on the AppIQ Apple App Store top Games-Casino grossing publishers leaderboard globally, Slotomania creator Playtika (now owned by Caesars) was the No. 1 publisher in a seven-day period from March 17 to March 23, accounting for 21 percent of the total revenue among the top 10 publishers (above). Seattle-headquartered Big Fish Games was in close second, with a 16 percent share of the total revenue.

Major casino operators are quickly converging on the social casino industry. Most recently, Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE) has pledged to continue its aggressive acquisition strategy to sustain the growth of its social gaming business after posting strong advances in the first quarter of 2014. Caesars Interactive Entertainment reported an 82 per cent increase in net revenue to $124.2m for the first quarter of 2014, driven by record growth from its social and mobile gaming business, as well as the first contributions from its recent Pacific Interactive acquisition. Pacific interactive is the fourth social casino operator Caesars has acquired.

@DevOpsSummit Stories
The need for greater agility and scalability necessitated the digital transformation in the form of following equation: monolithic to microservices to serverless architecture (FaaS). To keep up with the cut-throat competition, the organisations need to update their technology stack to make software development their differentiating factor. Thus microservices architecture emerged as a potential method to provide development teams with greater flexibility and other advantages, such as the ability to deliver applications at warp speed using infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) environments.
The use of containers by developers -- and now increasingly IT operators -- has grown from infatuation to deep and abiding love. But as with any long-term affair, the honeymoon soon leads to needing to live well together ... and maybe even getting some relationship help along the way. And so it goes with container orchestration and automation solutions, which are rapidly emerging as the means to maintain the bliss between rapid container adoption and broad container use among multiple cloud hosts. This BriefingsDirect cloud services maturity discussion focuses on new ways to gain container orchestration, to better use serverless computing models, and employ inclusive management to keep the container love alive.
ChatOps is an emerging topic that has led to the wide availability of integrations between group chat and various other tools/platforms. Currently, HipChat is an extremely powerful collaboration platform due to the various ChatOps integrations that are available. However, DevOps automation can involve orchestration and complex workflows. In his session at @DevOpsSummit at 20th Cloud Expo, Himanshu Chhetri, CTO at Addteq, will cover practical examples and use cases such as self-provisioning infrastructure/applications, self-remediation workflows, integrating monitoring and complimenting integrations between Atlassian tools and other top tools in the industry.
A strange thing is happening along the way to the Internet of Things, namely far too many devices to work with and manage. It has become clear that we'll need much higher efficiency user experiences that can allow us to more easily and scalably work with the thousands of devices that will soon be in each of our lives. Enter the conversational interface revolution, combining bots we can literally talk with, gesture to, and even direct with our thoughts, with embedded artificial intelligence, which can process our conversational commands and orchestrate the outcomes we request across our personal and professional realm of connected devices.
While some developers care passionately about how data centers and clouds are architected, for most, it is only the end result that matters. To the majority of companies, technology exists to solve a business problem, and only delivers value when it is solving that problem. 2017 brings the mainstream adoption of containers for production workloads. In his session at 21st Cloud Expo, Ben McCormack, VP of Operations at Evernote, discussed how data centers of the future will be managed, how the public cloud best suits your organization, and what the future holds for operations and infrastructure engineers in a post-container world. Is a serverless world inevitable?
