New Zenoss Open Source Project Powered by Docker

Control Center Extends Unified Monitoring and Analytics Platform to Revolutionize IT Operations for Cloud Infrastructures

AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 08/07/14 -- Zenoss Inc., the leading provider of unified monitoring and analytics solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud-based IT, today announced Zenoss Control Center, an open source project.

Control Center is an application service orchestrator that provides an out-of-band management system to the next generation Zenoss platform that is currently under development. Control Center is powered by Docker, a leading open source platform for building, shipping and running distributed applications, enabling DevOps application deployment agility.

Control Center adds a service management layer on top of Docker allowing it to orchestrate non-Zenoss applications in the same manner it orchestrates the next generation Zenoss platform. Anything from a simple web application to a complex multi-tiered distributed application stack can be managed through Control Center.
